The Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival (June 6-24, 2023)

The Texas Music Festival, hosted by the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music, features orchestral performances, chamber music concerts, jazz ensembles, and student showcases! Highlights of this summer’s concert season include the inaugural Sharon Ley Lietzow Piano Series (June 6, 13, 20), performances by the TMF Orchestra (June 10, 17, 24) the Faculty Chamber Music Series (June 8, 15, 22) and the newly named Cynthia Woods Mitchell-Ima Hogg Young Artist Competition Finals (June 11). Juneteenth commemorates emancipation

Houston Pride Parade and Afterparty (June 24, 2023)

Houston Pride Parade draws big crowds

Drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees each year, the Houston Pride Parade transforms the streets of downtown Houston into a vibrant spectacle. With dazzling floats and energetic performances, the parade serves as a powerful symbol of unity and inclusivity.

Following the parade,  Rich’s Houston Events will host the official Pride Houston afterparty at Rise Roof Top. Check out one of the nation’s largest nightclub venues with a retractable roof and dance the night away with DJs Kitty Glitter and Drew G! FYI, tickets to last year’s afterparty sold-out a few days before, so make sure to buy yours ahead of time.
