For 50+ years, the Bayou City Art Festival (BCAF)For more than 50 years, the Bayou City Art Festival (BCAF) has been one of Houston’s most beloved outdoor traditions. Drawing thousands of art lovers each year, the festival features more than 300 curated artists from across the country showcasing paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, mixed media, and more. It’s a weekend built for strolling, discovering new talent, and bringing home something original.
And it happens twice a year.
Bayou City Art Festival takes place during Houston’s best outdoor months — once in the spring and once in the fall.
March 28–29, 2026
The spring festival returns to downtown Houston at Sam Houston Park along Allen Parkway. With skyline views, shaded green space, and rows of artist booths, this edition blends culture and city energy in one of Houston’s most picturesque settings.
October 10–11, 2026
The fall festival takes place at Memorial Park, one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Expect tree-lined paths, open green space, and plenty of room to explore hundreds of artist exhibits, live entertainment, and food vendors.
The Bayou City Art Festival offers more than booths and canvases. Guests can enjoy a beer garden, wine garden, live entertainment, and the Champion Energy Active Imagination Zone for kids. A wide variety of food trucks ensures there’s something for everyone.
The festival is produced by the Art Colony Association, a nonprofit organization that benefits several Houston-area nonprofits, including Miller Outdoor Theatre, Pink Bows Foundation, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, FreshArts, ARTreach, and Second Servings of Houston.
The spring 2026 Bayou City Art Festival will be held March 28–29, 2026, at Sam Houston Park.
