The METRORail makes getting around a breeze, but on those days you don’t feel like traveling far to grab a bite to eat or order to-go, you have access to all kinds of restaurants and bars within a three-block radius. Situated in the Texas Medical Center neighborhood directly across from MD Anderson Cancer Center, Elan Med Center is an extremely popular place for patients and traveling medical professionals to stay. It’s within walking distance of TMC (You can see MD Anderson from your window!) and is just a short drive away from some southwest Houston’s most iconic locations: Hermann Park. Houston Zoo, Rice Village, and the Museum District.
You can also take the METRORail from the TMC and be in Midtown or downtown in minutes. Some of our guests take our complimentary wheelchair across the street to MD Anderson for appointments, because it’s just that close.
